I am not a marital relations expert. Nor do I profess to be. I can firmly state that I have first-hand experience with marriage. I also am a veteran of divorce.
Many of her readers have come forth with glowing testimonials of how good the book is and how it helped them. I am glad that things worked out so well for them. I would guess that this book also has helped many other people.
The book provides sensible advice on what you should do to repair a damaged marriage. More importantly, in my opinion, is what the book tells you not to do.
I think one of the reasons so many shaky marriages fail is that the couple get so much bad advice from others. They rely on the information they get from people they know and trust. Alas, that trusted information usually is no good.
I think another reason is that a husband or wife keeps thinking he or she can repair the marriage without any independent outside help. So a marriage counselor is not contacted. A book is not bought. I made that mistake.
A marriage counselor costs a lot of money. This book costs a little. Both cost far less than a divorce.
I recommend this book because it provides a good step-by-step guide for you if you are the one person in a marriage who wants to save it.
